Anna Christi Suwardi is a Research Fellow at the ELTE Centre for Social Sciences, awarded under the Momentum–MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme, co-funded by the European Commission and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA). She holds a PhD in ASEAN Studies and graduated summa cum laude in International Relations. Her research focuses on gender politics, peace and conflict, and sociocultural dynamics in Southeast Asia, with a multidisciplinary approach. She has over eight years of teaching experience at Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand, with her teaching certification status under the United Kingdom Professional Standards Framework for Higher Education UKPSF-FHEA. She also voluntary serves as the founder of DEEP EnGender, a not-for-profit organization advancing gender justice and ecological regeneration. In addition, she has led and implemented research initiatives involving women, youth, and Indigenous communities, supported by international donors including the European Union, Finn Church Aid, and the Sweden. She is a recipient of the Rotary Peace Fellowship, Salzburg Global Fellowship, and the U.S. YSEALI Professional Fellowship. Her work has been published in leading outlets including Taylor & Francis, Springer, Edward Elgar, and Mongabay.
